## Recent work

Regulated SME lender, payments, platform and security, 2024 to present. Clients are described by sector; names and references are shared under NDA.

- Payment processing moved out of web requests into an asynchronous job architecture with reliable queuing and execution.
- Core payment queries cut from 3 s to 300 ms at the 95th percentile.
- Rails MVC frontend moved to Next.js on a Rails API, with OpenAPI-generated type contracts between the two.
- API security audit covering authorization and tenant isolation, run as a tracked remediation program.
- Production observability rebuilt in Datadog with monitors, alert routing and error triage.
