One receipt, as many categories as it belongs to

Break a single transaction into lines with their own categories, entered as amounts or percentages. A live remaining figure stops the split from missing, and every report, budget and filter counts each line where it belongs.

Leftovers do not vanish

Monthly limits for any category or subcategory, with gauges that sort themselves into on track, at risk and over budget. Turn on rollover and money you did not spend becomes next month’s headroom.

Follow the money, not just the total

Two sets of books, one login

Run a household or a company alongside your personal money. Switching workspaces is not a filter: the personal books and the shared books never see each other, and that separation is enforced on every query.

Balances are calculated, not remembered

Every movement of money is written as two entries that cancel out, committed together with the transaction or not at all. A retry cannot double-count it and a crash cannot lose it.

  • A duplicate save is recognised as a replay
  • Each currency balances on its own

ASP.NET Core Web API built as a modular monolith on Clean Architecture with rich domain models. Entity Framework Core on SQL Server.
Messaging
Wolverine for durable, asynchronous domain event processing over a SQL Server transport.
Ledger
A server-side double-entry journal behind every balance and report, with nightly reconciliation and checkpoint rebuilds on Azure Functions timers.
Frontend
React and TypeScript on Vite with Material UI and TanStack Query. SignalR pushes query invalidation from the server.
Receipts
Azure Functions plugins for tax receipt scraping and receipt categorization, with Cosmos DB as the pipeline’s document store.
Tenancy and auth
Organizations as isolated multi-tenant workspaces. OpenIddict with ASP.NET Core Identity for OAuth 2.0.
